The Ohio State Highway Patrol is recruiting for civilian positions across the state and has scheduled an Opportunity Fair for Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the  Jackson Commercial Standards facility on 25 McCarty Lane, Jackson, Ohio 45640.

This gathering will offer a powerful opportunity for us to demonstrate patrol values, and showcase the important work our personnel perform as they demonstrate and discuss details of their respective positions.  They can meet motor vehicle inspectors, motor carrier enforcement inspectors, dispatchers, troopers in investigative services, SWAT and aviation to learn about their positions. We will have recruitment staff on site to help with the application processes. Additionally, a variety of patrol vehicles and equipment will be on display while we are fostering new interest in joining the patrol family.   

There are a variety of positions available in many areas around the state, not just Jackson.
