SVF partner Shawnee State University has connected us a new resource for paper mill workers currently going through job transition.

The Recover Appalachia initiative in Scioto County has announced they will offer their services to paper mill employees who are interested in learning more about entrepreneuship through an 8-week training program that teaches self-direction, opportunity recognition, and value creation. Recover Appalachia seeks to turn displacement into empowerment and aims to provide outcomes such as business ideas, side projects or hustles, and pathways to employment through entrepreneurial training.
