Four community-minded organizations have joined forces to launch the Mill City Resiliency Fund—a relief initiative designed to support individuals and families impacted by recent employment disruptions at the Chillicothe Paper Mill.

Homeland Credit Union is extending an open invitation to individuals impacted by the Chillicothe Paper Mill closure to join a series of free Coffee Chats at their 25 Consumer Center Dr., Chillicothe branch.

Paper Promises is a raw, intimate portrait of a town in transition. Through the voices of mill workers, union leaders, small business owners, and local officials, the film captures the fallout of a corporate decision made far from the people it affects most.

A formal letter signed by key community leaders and supported by more than 2,200 individuals across 34 states will be delivered to H.I.G. Capital, expressing concern over the sudden shift from the previously agreed-upon timeline of December 2025
